Pie to die for

Chocolate just moved to second place.

This weekend I treated myself to a small blueberry pie from “Desserts By Ann” at the West end of the Second Street Public Market.

$5.

Had a piece tonight. And, wow.

Her card says North River Coffee House- and has this phone number: 937-361-7785.

If you like pie- get over to the market on a Saturday morning and get one. Just one more reason it’s Great in Dayton.

I don’t like blueberry pie. Does she have lemon chiffon?

Only a diabetic in Cleveland (my Father) would be asking about flavors of pie. I haven’t seen a lemon chiffon- mostly fruit pies, but, I’ll ask her next time.

Uhm, unless she has chocolate pie, chocolate in and of itself NEVER moves to second place. Duh, David! ;-)

June Midwest Living “60 places worth the trip” recommends the strawberyy rhubarb with a hint of almond, can not get toDayton but would like the recipe.

The strawberry rhubarb pie is to die for.  I bought one last weekend for a dinner party I was hosting Saturday evening, and everyone love it!
