Send money. Please.

It’s official. It’s a three-way race. With the election coming up so quickly, it’s unlikely that the other candidates can work the web as fast as I can. https://www.electesrati.com/ is up- and the donation page is up.

I don’t need a lot of money- but I do need money for printing, for mailings, and for all the tools it takes to crunch data and win a modern American election. I’ll also need volunteers. So, consider heading over and making a donation- any amount.

I’d like to see $10K before the primary. If every contact I have just gave $10, I’d be well over.

I’ve posted my main campaign issues on the front page- it will evolve. But as you all know- all my positions are on this site- over the last 4 years.

This is important- as will the get-out-the-vote effort. I need your help.

You want representation- that represents you instead of Special Interests- get to it. Thanks!

Who came up with these district boundaries? It’s crazy.

I own a lake house by Rocky Fork so this somewhat applies to me. Do you have a plan for or at least a way to appeal to folks in Wilmington and Hillsboro as well? Do you have a feel for what’s important to voters down there?

@Steve- welcome (although we have another Steve- so if you could modify your name- that’d be great in the future).

The boundaries were set after the 2000 census by the Republicans- making sure Turner had a gerrymandered district. No, it doesn’t make any sense, and it will probably change for the next cycle- as Ohio will also probably lose 2 seats in the House due to our declining population (It’s why Turner moved to Downtown Dayton in Performance Place luxury condos).

I feel that voters in Highland and Clinton Counties are getting screwed over by banks, speculators in the stock markets, major employers and are just as disenfranchised as the rest of the voters. We’ve got a country that’s headed toward three types of people- the very rich, the very poor- and those that work for the government.

I’d like to represent them honestly- and work to restore balance and a viable middle class to our country.

There are four years worth of positions on this site- dig around- find things- ask questions. I respond. Try that on Turner’s site. http://www.miketurner.com/blog/

Thanks for finding me- please spread the word.
