The Bombers have been on a West Coast road trip for the last week. There hasn’t been any real coverage. Today- they made the front page of the Sports section- over a $2,000 bill submitted by one of the West Coast teams for damage to the locker room.
Another rare time the Bombers made the front page? When four players got involved in a fight outside a bar downtown.
Compare this to the coverage of the Dayton Dragons- who consistently had pictures, coverage and DDN sponsored promotions.
Another example of the DDN making more news than just reporting it. With a paper like this- who needs enemies?
