Recycling City Managers?

Pure rumors here and connecting the dots.
I heard that Maureen Pero just sold her home in Oakwood.
Could it be that she’s moving back into the city to be our next City Manager?
If it is- it’s too bad.
We really don’t need someone leading the city- fighting for the residency rule- who bailed to Oakwood the moment she left her last City job (acting City Manager). Never mind the fact that she hasn’t done much as head of the Downtown Dayton Partnership other than take home an obscene paycheck.
I’ve already written about other people who could step in to the job- but, unfortunately- we prefer to make the comfortable, safe choices in Dayton which is a big part of the reason we are in the mess we’re in.
