I’ve already written why Issue 3 is a bad idea. Never mind that Montgomery County Democratic Party thinks it’s a good idea because they got money from the Casino backers to tell you to vote yes. It creates a monopoly- with no competitive bidding- for 2 organizations in 4 locations. How big of a monopoly? Read More

The “brilliant minds” at the Dayton Daily News editorial board once again came out against gambling, which is the right thing to do if it’s a constitutional amendment that guarantees a monopoly to the people who wrote the bill: It is a constitutional amendment that would allow one casino in Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati and Toledo.
