Area government and community leaders are departing Friday for their planned trade trip to Israel.
The mission will focus on sensor technologies, advanced materials, aircraft and present investment opportunities to companies located there to move to the Dayton area or seek joint ventures in area initiatives.
Montgomery County Commissioners Dan Foley and Deborah Lieberman will join Dayton Mayor Rhine McLin and 20 other members of a business delegation on the nine day visit.
“Developing a focused international development initiative is an important part of the Montgomery County Commission’s strategic initiatives to ensure the economic vitality of Montgomery County and the Dayton Region,” Foley said.
I understand that people do business with people they know, but sending 23 people for 9 days is a pretty penny.
