First Fridays For Friendly Festivities

I’m supposed to be the first to know about this stuff- but no one told me (maybe someone needs a better ad agency) until today.

The Cannery Art and Design Center at East Third Street and Wayne Avenue- nestled between the Wine Bar and Therapy Cafe, hosts an opening the first Friday of every month. Local arts, music, and the cool cats all get together and look cool while circulating around a ton of art.

I didn’t have my camera with me- but, if you make it over to CADC- go look for the large paintings by James Pate- with the ball caps. If I had $4000- they’d be on my walls right now.

For people who don’t think there is anything happening in Dayton- you aren’t trying hard enough.
