The FBI and the DOJ have been dragging their feet for over 2 years since I started my FOIA journey to get the tapes that were played to the Grand Jury of Nan Whaley privately negotiating deals of some sort in violation of Ohio’s Sunshine Laws. I know these tapes exist.

In the many delays caused by legal motions and extensions and everything else, I timely filed a few days early my final response to their response to my appeal which was delayed twice. I published here on the blog. In it, I accuse the Feds of committing a felony- by not removing Joey D Williams from the Dayton City Commission when they caught him accepting a bribe. And, that they only indicted Black people- and that their court in Dayton, the Southern District of Ohio, is racially biased in their jury selection.

In their fastest response to date, they filed a motion to seal it and to strike documents of support. I published that yesterday.

Which meant I had to drop everything, and focus and file a response to it. I thought it was highly ironic that the Feds were still covering up their failings in prosecution in Dayton on the same day they had reached a victory in putting former Ohio Speaker Larry Householder away for 20 years. Of course, the fact that some of Larry’s dirty First Energy Money funneled through his dirty 501(c)4 mysteriously made it into the hands of former Dayton Mayor, and current head of the Board of Elections, Rhine McLin isn’t being addressed at all.

But, what’s a little more corruption amongst the friends and family of the Monarchy of Montgomery County?
In thinking back to the day they rolled out the 4 Black victims in the botched “Culture of Corruption” investigation I looked back to what I had published that day. I wish I hadn’t done that. There is no lack of evidence of why the landfill is now the tallest point in Dayton- and that our public officials still believe they can demolish their way to prosperity.

I’m not a lawyer, and I’m in over my head, but, the reality is, the Feds must not be hiring the best and brightest out of law schools because the cases the AUSA cited in his defense, don’t really help him much.

The reality is, this is a blatant attempt at silencing the free press. How I got the documents is immaterial, they belong to the public and are no where close to the “Pentagon Papers” that the NY Times published- which were considered a possible risk to national security. Here we’re only talking about job security for the government officials who let Nan off the hook- and allowed Joey to get away with 3 full years of commissioner pay- after being caught committing a vile crime.
