Looking at their “our team” webpage it’s pretty clear, that just this week, things have changed. People are either abandoning a sinking ship, or getting thrown off it.
Pat McDonald who was the Chief Operating Officer last week, is now “Pat McDonad (sic) Business Analyst.” Paula Robinson is now the Chief Operating Officer.
Kay Schrader who was their media contact- is no longer with the YWCA according to her voice mail.

Calls to the YWCA go un-returned. And this is just the changes I can track from the Wayback machine going back to June 16, 2024. Around the same time the Huber Heights facility went dark.
For those of you who’ve been following this story on this site since last Thursday, when I posted that the YWCA/MCADAMHS was clearing out the evidence of a failed women’s program at the Huber Heights YWCA, it’s gotten stranger by the day. Supposedly, bulldozers are coming to flatten the main building tomorrow- which has an entire room full of brand new kitchen equipment in it. The clean out crew, was paid $60K to dispose of the evidence- including tens of thousands of brand new beds, furniture, computers, toys, supplies, etc. They were told to stop on Tuesday. The people contacted at the city of Huber Heights know nothing of this, yet the Director of Administrative Services claimed the property is being deeded to Huber Heights and they were going to take over the facility.
Yesterday, Gem City Cleaning posted tons of stuff on Facebook to be given away for free. I’m sure some of it will then be turned around and sold by the lucky folks who showed up. Why the YWCA or MCADAMS didn’t try to redistribute their bounty to other non-profits, or sell some of it to recoup their money is a mystery.
What is also a mystery is who holds these organizations accountable after they get given our tax dollars. I’ve put calls in to people way above my pay grade in Columbus to come in and investigate.
The YWCA received a few large grants for the preservation of their Historic Building downtown- including $725K in 2020 and $500K in 2021-22. This was in addition to the $500K that went to them in 2022 coming out of the State budget.
Where is the FBI when you need them to investigate Dayton’s Culture of Corruption? Am I the only one wondering how all this money gets spent with zero accountability?
Maybe it’s time for YWCA director Terra Fox Williams to come clean? A public statement? Maybe Helen Jones-Kelley can tell us what she plans to do with the 17 acres and 11 buildings that were given to her in 2019 by Montgomery County The State of Ohio? And maybe it’s time to put a sign up on the property, For Sale By Owner, make offer. Because somehow, leaving this to a quasi-governmental organization with ZERO elected oversight seems just wrong. Especially after they were just handed another $2M.

Leadership left, they were not fired and what you saw on the website is only their executive team. They also lost their Housing Manager, Clinical Manager, Rape Crisis Center Manager, Rural Manager, Youth/Teen Manager, Food Program Manager, Grants Manager, and Associate Director of Development within the last six months.
Why did all of these people quit working at the YWCA at nearly the same time (if you know)?
Mission drift, unethical decision making, program closure, mistreating staff, and lack of client care to name a few things. Tenured staff tried to give new leadership time to adjust but could not support the decisions being made and the direction the organization was heading.
Organizations flex and drift often enough, but usually stay on the general path. Unethical decisions, staff mistreatment, program closures, and lack of client care don’t sound like mission creep.
Was a lack of funding, or overspending, a factor? When did this begin?
Why was the Huber Heights campus lease necessary?

The funding is there. The use is questionable. It’s a public nonprofit. Anyone can request financials, tax returns, and audit findings.
The Rothchilds (Banking Cartel) started the YMCA so they could snatch up people, human trafficking.

Staff left because of burnout, serious medical problems due to the stressful environment, lack of respect from leadership towards employees and clients, lack of compassion or concern towards clients, leadership making questionable/ unethical decisions, funds being mismanaged, programs cut with no accountability, lack of transparency, open positions needed left unfilled while management positions were filled despite lack of qualifications or conflicts of interest present… the list goes on. Many staff tried to hold out hope that things would get better, but when things got worse, staff left for the sake of their health.
At least 5 YWCA support staff have quit within the past two weeks leaving total staffing at around 21 once they are gone. There were over 60 staff at the beginning of 2023. Reason for support staff leaving include clients not being treated respectfully by current leadership, rumors of funds not being utilized correctly, and poor treatment of staff by current leadership. The current website states that programs the YWCA operates include Youth/Teen (Prevention), Rape Crisis Center, and Preble County programs but there is no staff to support this.
