[1]Here we go, Esrati bashing people again. This time, the post office. Unlike President Trump, I don’t believe in shutting down the post office, I realize it’s mandated in the constitution, and without it, there are plenty of American’s who would be unreachable by any other service.
Yesterday, out of frustration, I spent an hour trying to get hold of a live person at either the national level or the local post office over the tracking history of a simple, small package that I’ve been waiting for. Finally, a nice lady at my delivery station (in Beavercreek) said that there must be something wrong with the barcode and that it was going to the Salem Ave office- and that she’d try to get a message to them not to send it back to Cincinnati.

I also tried their online complaint form https://usps.force.com/emailus/s/ [2] which failed yesterday and still had issues today, despite having a tracking number and the senders info.
I realize that during the pandemic and a rushed vote by mail election, things might be a little out of whack, but how many times can you round trip a package between Cincy and Dayton and not think to investigate? After the fifth? The sixth? Hello? USPS do you really need to give the president dynamite for your demise?
This isn’t rocket science. You’ve been at this since 1775, UPS since 1907, FedEx since 1971 and Amazon delivery since, well, last year… you should have a leg up on the competition.
And, the veteran I take care of, he’s waiting for a package too, that was shipped via one of those hand-off to USPS for final delivery services. It got to Ohio two weeks ago…
The package arrived this afternoon- after all the calls and online notifications. Other than my name showing twice- and Dayton on two lines- the address was perfectly readable by a human.

That distribution Center in Cincinnati I have no idea what is going on there. I had a shipment of books spend 14 days there and as soon as I contacted my local PO here in KY the package magically was delivered 2 days later. So this time have a package of model horses been stuck there a week so contacted my PO again and he did his job and contacted me telling me he cannot get any information on this package so told me to file a missing claim which I did package still stuck there according to the tracking. And now today a magazine was supposed to arrive didn’t arrive so checked tracking and yet again where is it but this Cinncinnati distribution center.
Why can this distribution center not send any mail out and if it goes there the mail is never heard from again. I mean one time things happen and then a second time ok maybe things happen by coincidence twice but after the third time and beyond come on what is going on over there.
Memphis tennessee center is awfully slow. Wish other centers would stop sending packages there for they are weeks behind and somebody needs to do something about it

I’m having the same problem and more. I have one package stuck in Oxford, Ms. since December 20th. I have had 2 different packages the USPS mail man said it was put in my mailbox. Problem is the packages are too big to fit in my mailbox. 30 days apart. These are apartment cluster mailboxes like a P O Box. I had a 53 pound package with 1000 .30 caliber carbine lead bullets, 500 .45 ACP lead bullets, and 500 .357 lead bullets all for reloading declared missing from USPS. And then show up 10 days later with most of the contents gone All 1000 of the .30 cal were gone, half of the 500 .45ACP rounds were gone with 3 bags of lead weights in USPS plastic bags to make up for the lost weight. And yes I filed multiple complaints with no luck. These people are worse than useless.
Cincinnati Distribution Center is the ABSOLUTE WORST!! I’ve had so many things dissapear there…. Even the normal mail takes FOREVER going through them

I totally understand your frustration, as I have had a package in the Memphis Triangle for three weeks. I can understand late, but this is crazy and there is no one stepping up or claiming responsibility. How long am I expected to accept “in transit arriving late”….another 30 or more days?? Maybe some infrastructure repair should start in TN.
here we are in 2021 and I realize the workforce is still low right now, but every time a package goes through the “CINCINNATI OH NETWORK DISTRIBUTION CENTER” you can pretty well count on it taking a few extra weeks to a month, happens every time, and doesn’t seem to happen at any of the other locations. Someone really needs to step into that distribution center and rebuild it from the ground up.
These F*CKERS stole my package! It was supposed to be delivered 7/2/2021. It is showing it is still stuck in USPS Origin Facility CINCINNATI, OH 45246!!! It hasn’t moved, and I will have to reverse the charges on my credit card since it’s lost in transit!!!
I have gone through the same exact thing two times in the past year. They missed coded it send it to a town about 10 miles away I tried to call nobody would answer then I finally saw tracking a week later where they sent it back to where it started I could’ve just driven 10 miles up the road and picked it up if somebody would’ve just answered the phone. Or hey if somebody would just do their job right in the first place it would not have been sent to that little tiny post office. And currently I have a package that was mailed August 2 received August 3 in Cincinnati and has not been seen since. Their online tracking is totally useless.
