Not quite sure why a public site would hide the registration info- but there is the possibility that someone didn’t renew the URL and a squatter bought it and is holding it for ransom- or, the new city website developer is moving domains to the more proper .gov domain- and just didn’t bother to build a site worth indexing.

For now- forget contacting them, or learning anything about them. Don’t worry- you can still find the dockets etc. at http://wejis.com/PA/HomePage.cfm [3]

because, of course, everyone knows that wejis stands for Dayton something…?

Of course, this operation is run by the Dayton Clerk of Courts- Mark Owens. The Democratic Party Chairman. Maybe he’d care to explain why the site is down.

UPDATE

Apparently, they moved the site to https and didn’t tell Google- or configure it properly or both. https://daytonmunicipalcourt.org/ [4]

The link works fine for me. You might want to check again.

This is shocking! City of Dayton is run like a finely tuned swiss watch. Every employee, procedure, and policy is held to the highest standards of conception and execution. For this to have slipped by Mayor Whaley’s eagle eye and those of her crack staff is deeply troubling.

I say we organize a week-long “Vigil of Support” at Mayor Whaley’s office. Pot luck meals, a hymn sing-along, a candlelight procession, guest speakers (is Al Sharpton available? How about Tony Robbins?), t-shirts with the web address….maybe even a city-wide “Day of Healing”.

Pull together, and we will emerge from this crisis stronger!

It is also a .org site and not a .com.

new government

I encountered the same holding page, but not until January 1, 2015 did it go to the holding page, and believe if they had a release of their lease with their major such engine then that is what happened. Who knows they may have signed up, made a deal with someone to contract it out for all these kinds of service.

There should of been a notice to the public as this effects getting information and find it suspect and there should be no interruption of this kind of service.

Perhaps when the Buckeye district changes back to Oregon we can get back our public records.

I wonder if they thought no one would notice, but like I said it went down on January 1, 2015. what else is going to change now that it is 2015?

new government

David the site is know working like it did before, obviously they renewed or changed the holding position. Glad you raised it here in this forum; we all were informed and evidenced and noted the problem and a resolution was quickly found.

Thank you bringing these kinds of story to light and keeping things in check for all of Dayton!
