The stock market crash has caused a ripple locally- the portfolio that’s been funding the free condom program in Dayton isn’t going to be able to fund the program. Last year, Planned Parenthood gave away condoms almost as fast as the TARP has handed billions to banks and insurance companies. Without raising $3,000 for a matching grant, the program will be preaching abstinence for lack of plonkers.
So, to entice all you civic minded folks who believe change is a comin, you can stop in for an Inauguration party at Coco’s on Tuesday, 20 Jan, 2009 from 5-8pm. $12 gets you free appetizers and there will be a cash bar with drink specials. They’ll be showing a “DVD-delayed” recording of the inauguration, and celebrating the occasion.

I’ll be there, because, Hope isn’t really an option when it comes to birth control.
Umm, a condom fundraiser and the inauguration . . . I’m not sure its a good fit. Surely a more fun concept would have been a “Don’t let the door hit you on the way out” party for the Repubs. You know, now that they’re out of office, those dicks will need a lot more protection . . . ho, ho, ho. Apologies in advance to my GOP pals, just couldn’t resist, hee hee hee.
Who are these rubbers going to? Every where I look I see little kids everywhere, with 16 year old unwed mothers. Are they filling them up with water and using them as water balloons. Or, do they know how to use them? Or are we handing them out to people over 50 years old?
Somehow I always thought my only option was to buy these things at your local grocery/Rx. Free sounds better. Perhaps you get what you pay for. (No kids for me.)
I support the vasectomies for young males program. One snip is all it takes.
Maybe ask Obama – they are spending over $100 mil on his inauguration. What a joke. During these tough times we spend money on bs like this, give me a break. Swear him in in the Oval office, buy coffee and doughnuts, $82.
With the event at a restaurant, how about flavored condoms? It’s a condom, it’s a mint… it’s a condiment! It’s bound to be a good fit (was that intended Larkin?).
Funny, we joke about this, but how many dollars are spent on unwanted kids, pregnant teens and entire lives spent milking the system BC they don’t use condoms. Real lives are made worse BC we can’t get people to take personal responsibility. Kids are still having kids, and we laugh with “dick” jokes and “condom” jokes.
Maybe our efforts need to go towards telling people to stop screwing BC their kids will have horrible lives (for the most part) and it cost society a lot with poor education, higher taxes, higher crime rate, increased poverty and homelessness, increased drug use, increased infection and disease, poor health, more abuse. But we all still think it is a funny topic.
Maybe we should teach values to our kids.Maybe your President can spend time in the hood to tell people to stop having sex……. or would that be wrong BC it may hurt someones feelings.
I want God to take personal responsibility to granting humans with the ability to procreate before marriage. Why can’t he just change that physical law?
So do I get a free condom if I go?
Is there a God? Maybe………. but if there is a God, he is not a person, so he can not take PERSONal responsibility, he would have some other responsibility that we do not know about……… i think.
