Last Friday, 20 of the 35 or so people remaining at Qbase were asked to go on straight commission or to work for free. These are the “non-billable” employees, who do sales, marketing and admin.
Yet, on Monday, QBase starts posting ads on Linked Dayton and other job boards to hire new people:
DIRECTOR OF IT SUPPORT OPERATIONS [1]
SOFTWARE ENGINEER – HEALTHCARE [2]
Contact Kyle Cantrell [6]– the Associate Manager of Corporate Development at Qbase.
If you aren’t a member of LinkedDayton on Linkedin- these links may not work.
I’m not sure how current employees suddenly on commission feel about new hires, but, then again- the reality distortion field at Qbase is strong. Now, if only the taxpayers could get their “investment back.” [7]

I have most of the qualifications for these job postings. Should I fake apply for one to see if they offer actual money compensation or not?
@Steve it’s totally up to you. It’s time for the taxpayers to hear what their “investment” bought and stop this corporate welfare craziness.
These are the same jobs they have posted for months. I had all the qualifications, and not even a response, or thank you for applying. This is a ghost ship of a company trying to keep the lights on to appear to still be in business.
Kyle Cantrell? Isn’t he an Intern? Has he graduated college yet?
HAHAHA
