David, I’ve been giving this a lot of thought. I think you’re making a HUGE MISTAKE by not having a couple of “traditional pages” on this site. These would be pages that list your platform (take much of what you sent to the DDN and the Mont Co Dems) as well as your ideas for change and other things about you. I agree, your blog is about as open as you can get. And you’ve been incredibly gracious in replying to those that disagree with you (as I often do), but the bottom line is that the average voter (and web surfer) is lazy and is not going to dig through pages and pages of posts to see who you are. This is the age of instant gratification. You, as a marketing guru, already know that though. I think the “Small Business” PDF is a great start, but put a link to it somewhere prominant on your site. At least put a link to it on your “Congress” page. A few more PDFs that people can view, print, and distribute will go a long way towards increasing people’s awareness of who you are and what you stand for. Also, most people don’t have the high-capacity printer and 12 reams of paper next to their computer like I do, so many won’t bother to print it out. And I’m only half-way through it myself! If possible, you might want to do something to make the “Congess” link stand out a bit more. Yeah, I’m used to being on this site so I haven’t really looked for it, but today is the first time I’ve noticed it to the point where I actually clicked on it. Anyway, they say that free advice is usually worth what you pay for it, so take this advice accordingly. I… Read more »

OK – but in the “site instructions” you indicate that you’re not going to do a “real web site”. Just wanted to make sure you weren’t missing the boat.

No need to reply to this. Focus on the screening comm.’s.
