The keynote speaker should be Leigh Allan, the former Dayton Daily News columnist who actually walked to work from Oakwood.
However, he wasn’t “positive” enough for the powers that be- (He thought the Riverscape fountains were stupid- imagine that!)- and got the boot.
But- a bunch of institutions in town want to have a “regional issues forum”- and we’re all invited:

Phillip- I was there- as was Bruce Kettelle- and I was excited- all right up to 6:55 when they still hadn’t started- and I had to go be a guest speaker at a class in building 5.
I’ll have to wait for the rest of you to share what you learned.
Btw- I found it funny- that they say you can’t park motorcycles in the building 12 garage- how un-efficient is that?
I had the highest MPG vehicle at the program (my scooter gets about 85 mpg) but I wasn’t supposed to park it in the garage.
I did pick up a newsletter- with the Jitney info- looks interesting.
The program didn’t end until aroun 9:30. I found it a fun and interesting presentation. I took a lot of notes but I need to get to bed. I’ll try and post a report later this week.
