OH-03: Mitakides Campaign Kickoff – Jane Mitakides (D) will have her official campaign kick-off event on Thursday, February 7th, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Montgomery County Democratic Party Headquarters, 131 South Wilkinson Street, Dayton, Ohio 45402.

But, when I was at the Democrats for a Stronger America meeting tonight- Jane was still sitting home in her private community dialing her friends in high places for dollars.

It was quite funny when one of the people there showed me his printouts of all three candidates sites- and said, “you really have issues and answers there” – ahem, that’s my point. I don’t want $2,300 donations from people who want favors. I want $20 from everyone who thinks we need a new kind of voice in Congress- one that actually represents us, not special interest groups.

We’re walking tomorrow– a full 2 days before Jane kicks off- we could use your support. I’m asking some of you to walk your talk. And if you want to hang outside HQ on Thursday and hand out literature to everyone going to the kick off- well, maybe I’ll see you there.
